Data Wrangling in OpenRefine

Calling all spreadsheet wranglers! You may not have heard of OpenRefine, but OpenRefine wants to help you! OpenRefine is free to use and easy to learn. This hands-on workshop will demonstrate the most powerful features including easily identifying and merging similar records, fixing data entry errors, and cross-referencing datasets. This beginner-level workshop requires no prior experience and provides the sample data you will use.
You will need to bring a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer to participate. Students can borrow a laptop through the library’s Tech Lending program.
