The same AI tools can leave one person more dependent and make another more capable. The difference comes down to how you direct them. This hands-on workshop introduces evidence-based principles for working well with AI: assembling the right content, writing effective prompts, and evaluating AI-assisted work with a critical eye. You'll practice each principle on tasks from your own teaching, so you leave with an approach you can keep using rather than a set of notes.
This workshop will help you begin using AI to support your teaching and explore ways to use it responsibly and productively with students. No technical background is needed, just work you already care about.
Presenter: Abram Anders, Jonathan Wickert Professor of Innovation and Associate Director of the Student Innovation Center
